GEAR UP GCS at Jackson Middle
Welcome to GEAR UP GCS
at Jackson Middle School!
Who is GEAR UP and What Can We Do For You?
Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a federally-funded program designed to support students as they prepare for and succeed in college. The USU GEAR UP program helps students and families to see that it is possible to attend a school after high school, whether that is a 4-year college or a 2-year technical school. GEAR UP GCS works in partnership and collaboration with schools, teachers, staff, and families.
- Academic tutoring
- College campus visits
- Career exploration
- Summer camps and activities
- Financial aid planning/advising
- Workshops and programs for families
Who Can Take Advantage of GEAR UP GCS ?
